Humans are pack animals and we all need to face life’s journey supported by others. Seeking help is a strength and the first step toward creating a life that will provide you with meaning and purpose. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship between client and clinician. This relationship provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for the client to explore their inner most selves and ultimately find the truest forms of healing, resilience, and growth: those that stem from within our own being.
The training I received as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker enables me to utilize an holistic approach to psychotherapy, focusing on the whole person and environment in which they exist. Together in partnership, my clients and I identify and access their strengths and ability for deep insight, thus unlocking their potential for good mental health and well-being. I believe in the importance of integrating the mind, body, and soul in order to improve daily functioning and overall well-being. My eclectic approach to psychotherapy, which includes traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy (including breathing, movement, body scanning, music, mindfulness), and energy healing enables me to tailor therapy to each individual client, aiding them to integrate their mental, physical, and emotional selves. I am fluent in English and Hebrew. I utilize a culturally aware lens, which is enriched by my experiences being raised in a diverse city, living overseas for 10 years during my early adulthood, and working with people from a wide range of demographic backgrounds.
As the daughter of immigrants, a married mother of three children, and part of the sandwich generation (caring for parents and children), I am personally familiar with anxiety, stress, search for purpose and meaning, caregiving, cultural differences and adaptations, and life’s many other challenges in general. I’m here to walk with you on your personal journey and guide you with tools to face life’s many ups and downs.
