I have over 25 years of experience and a degree from Columbia University. I offer a warm and supportive environment where individuals and couples can learn to change their feelings and behavior while increasing resiliency. I work from a solution-oriented approach that helps clients learn lifelong skills to reduce anxiety and depression, enabling my clients to lead healthier and happier lives.
I use approaches from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to work with my clients with symptom relief and develop an understanding of why my clients feel the way they do. I believe that much client change happens during the week in between sessions and I will often assign homework for my clients to do during the week to further enhance the work we did together in session
