Motherhood is often thought of as a time of joy. This is the emotion many of us imagine we will feel as we prepare for and experience the birth of a baby, and society reinforces this idea at every turn. Yet just as often during this time of transition, unexpected emotions can arise which can be surprising and unsettling. If you are pregnant, have recently had a baby, or have older children and do not like the way you are feeling, then you have come to the right place. My practice is dedicated to helping you find your way toward feeling like yourself again and to helping you adapt to this new role in your life. I provide online sessions to clients located in New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Along with my passion for the perinatal population, I offer as modalities supportive/insight oriented therapy, EMDR, Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Mindful Self-Compassion, and traditional CBT, among others.
