I warmly welcome you as you consider taking this meaningful step toward healing and growth. As a Los Angeles native, I bring over a decade of experience as an educator, behavioral therapist, and counselor, working with children and families across preschool, elementary, and middle school settings. My passion lies in creating a safe and supportive space where individuals of all ages can navigate challenges, build resilience, and foster emotional well-being.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings, including intensive outpatient programs, school-based mental health services, community clinics, and private practice. I completed extensive clinical training at The Maple Counseling Center and am currently a Reiss-Davis fellow at Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, receiving advanced training in child and family therapy. Additionally, I serve on the Program Committee at the Los Angeles Institute and Society of Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS).
My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychoanalytic theory, with a strong emphasis on attachment and play therapy. I firmly believe that our early relationships play a crucial role in shaping our emotional development and relational patterns. Gaining insight into these experiences fosters deeper self-awareness and paves the way for lasting change. Because children often struggle to express their emotions through words alone, I utilize play as a way to help them process experiences, develop coping skills, and navigate challenges in a safe and supportive space. I also work closely with parents to provide insight into their child’s emotional world, enhance communication, and foster a more connected and harmonious family environment.
Beyond my work with children and families, I help teens, young adults, and individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves, break free from unhealthy patterns, and build healthier relationships. My style is warm, collaborative, and creative, and I strive to create a non-judgmental space where growth and healing can occur. If you’re considering therapy for yourself, your child, or your family, I invite you to reach out—I’d love to support you on your journey.
