I work from a Humanistic Integrative approach, which allows therapeutic flexibility to flow throughout our sessions. Humanistic therapy emphasises empathy, genuine support, and the belief in each individual’s potential for self-growth.
My core beliefs are based on psychodynamic techniques, a form of therapy that explores how early childhood experiences and relationships shape our development.
I support clients in bringing hidden issues to light so that we can better understand and address the root causes of what they are feeling. Whilst allowing my client to take the lead, I bring patience, warmth and an open platform, focusing on ensuring that my clients feel at ease, heard and acknowledged.
“Experience shapes personality, which can, in return, affect an individual’s response to that experience. Past experiences affect the present”
