I help caregivers with anxiety, depression, and complicated relationships remember to prioritize their own well-being and create space for healing. In other words, I help you feel your feelings even when you’re worried about everyone else’s. No matter who you are or where you come from, chances are someone relies on you— whether you’re helping a family member, a patient, or your country, remember that someone also needs to be helping you.
My approach to therapy hinges on two main ideas: being confident in the methods I employ to help you, and humble to your feedback about how well they work. All therapy modalities have something valuable to offer people, and your approach is only as helpful as the person listening to your story. A good psychologist knows what will work for you, the individual, and will always explain why. Blending science and intuition is the most rewarding part of the hard work we will do together.
I am licensed in both New York and California, and am able to offer virtual telehealth services to individuals residing in either state. From shoreline to skyline, I will guide you in figuring out your life’s purpose, helping turn your existential needs into actionable goals. We will learn to cope with difficulties in the short term, and set you up for a meaningful life in the longer term.
Remember that it’s okay for you to ask for help, too.
