I am a New York State licensed psychologist in private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City.
I work with tweens, teens, college and graduate students, couples, adults, parents and families.
In addition to the above, I consult with parents to educate and help them provide emotional support and direction to their children, including those who are not in therapy. This may include parent education, school consultation and therapeutic recommendations. I work closely with parents of young children, tweens and adolescents to guide them through their child’s challenges, such as school refusal, lack of academic growth and achievement, social difficulties, stress, depression, and anxiety. I may be called on to serve as an intermediary between parents, and school administration and am available to consult with all professionals involved in the treatment plan.
I have worked as a School Psychologist in several Independent Schools in Manhattan including one school for students with special needs. I draw on my unique personal experience working in New York’s finest schools to understand and help New Yorkers dealing with a wide range of issues related to mental health.
I have conducted workshops on child and adolescent development, parent education, social skills for learning disabled students and resiliency in children and adolescents.
My approach is individualized and my goal is to help my clients gain the skills and tools necessary to make positive changes in their lives, in a timely fashion.
I work both in person and virtually.
