Hello! If you are struggling at work, in your relationships, with your family or struggling to find yourself. If there is something you want to change but need help getting started. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, or if there is something you’ve struggled with for a long time and need to find a new approach, I’m here to help you through it! I received a Master’s in Social Work as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Trauma Studies from Adelphi University and utilize different modalities such as CBT, DBT, and The Gottman Method for couples counseling.
For years I have worked in outpatient clinics in Brooklyn and Queens, helping individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, adjustment and marital/relationship issues. I also worked at the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect working with children and their families who survived all forms of abuse, and for over 8 years, I’ve lead a bereavement group for those who have lost their dear loved ones.
I provide a compassionate, safe space where together we can explore your challenges, better understand them and come up with strategies to set you up for success. Talk therapy is a vehicle for true change and I believe in utilizing several therapeutic modalities, and some humor, to ensure we find the best fit for you. Let’s get you to where you want to be!
