I am here to help, young adults, teens, and preteens learn to harness their strengths and turn them into coping skills they can use everyday to maintain emotional balance during these exceptionally stressful times. I am experienced in the full range of challenges facing young clients, but have particular expertise with depression / anxiety/ bi-polar disorder, major life transitions and stress, academic and friendship challenges, suicidal thoughts and self harm, gender exploration, PTSD, and chronic illness/ pain/ disability.
In therapy, I follow your lead and help you come up with your own solutions. You know yourself best, but sometimes the right therapy structure may be just the thing that is needed to help lead you to deeper insights or get past personal road blocks. I am a board certified art therapist in addition to a family therapist offering regular talk therapy if art is not your thing. You don’t have to be an artist or have art experience to work with me. Instead, the heart of the work we do together will be fostering a supportive space for creative expression and problem solving. This can happen through any interests you wish to share with me and I am excited to get to know you! For a free 20 minute consultation, please reach out!
