When I work with Jewish clients, that sense of shared understanding—of identity, values, culture, and lived experience—can be especially meaningful. There’s often an unspoken “shorthand” that helps create comfort and safety in the therapeutic space, which feels all the more essential in these times. It is my privilege to offer a space where Jewish clients can feel seen, supported, and understood as they navigate whatever life has brought their way.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly 20 years in the corporate world. I know how heavy it feels to keep up and perform and achieve can be, especially when the ones we care most about are counting on us. The demands of school, work, family, relationships, fear of failure, and identity conflicts build over time, until they are too heavy for us to bear alone. When there’s no time to just “be”, it’s easy to lose touch with the messy, tender parts of ourselves —and with them, our deepest wants and needs. My therapy room is a space to let go of holding it all together—a place to be real and show up as you are.
Deciding to start—or return to—therapy is a meaningful investment. It can feel both necessary and overwhelming. Meeting for a phone consultation is a great first step: it gives me a chance to learn more about what you’re looking for, and it gives you space to explore whether now feels like the right time and whether we might be a good fit.
