Hello! I am the granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor and have had a strong sense of connection to my Jewish heritage and cultural identity since early childhood, despite not having a religious upbringing. The unique intergenerational trauma of the Holocaust is a special focus and interest of mine, both personally and professionally. After October 7th, my sense of what it means to be a Jewish woman in America has been altered in a way that has felt confusing, novel and isolating. I am here to be of service to our Jewish community and offer a safe and inclusive space during what has been a disorienting and painful time for many of us. I am also welcoming to anyone who is having a different experience and just wants the opportunity to meet with a Jewish therapist and connect more easily through shared cultural and familial experiences.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in CA. I have been practicing since 2009 and licensed since 2014. I completed my undergraduate and Masters degrees at USC and the majority of my clinical training at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA. I am about to begin the third and final year of my training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, which is a large part of my practice. I utilize both top-down (cognitive) and bottom-up (somatic) approaches to help my clients become more integrated and regulated in relationships, body and mind. I specialize in trauma, intergenerational patterns, parenting, relational dynamics, attachment, anxiety, chronic illness, the nervous system and somatic work. I truly love being a therapist and having the privilege of connecting with people during some of life’s most significant moments. Building a strong and respectful relationship with my clients that honors their own lived experience and expertise is extremely important to me and is foundational to how I approach the therapeutic process. My clients describe me as warm, relatable, helpful, authentic, collaborative and knowledgeable. I look forward to meeting you and helping you connect to the innate wisdom of your own body and mind.
