The Psychotherapy World has been rocked by the antisemitism infection spreading across society, and our collegial learning spaces are no exception. At a recent conference, one of our colleagues rose up and thoughtfully advocated on behalf of not just the Jewish community, but everyone in attendance who experienced the harm of a presentation that included inflammatory, antisemitic content. We’ll sit down with this colleague, Sivan Komatsu, to get to know the colleague behind the advocacy: her life journey leading up to that fateful day, what it takes to stay in “wise mind” when at our most vulnerable, how she’s found support in the aftermath of that event, and her aspirations for the psychotherapy community and the Jewish voices within. Join us for a warm evening of listening, learning, and even some much needed Jewish Joy.
We'll be available to share more exciting information about our Israel Experience this summer, including some of the incredible pieces of the itinerary we won't be posting on the website! We'll also be on hand to answer questions and help support you as you navigate moving forward in hopes of joining us!
