My Practice at a Glance: Both Virtual and In-Person from San Francisco
Compassionate, Client-Centered Therapy to Help You Reclaim Your Story
As a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve spent over a decade helping individuals and couples find their way back to themselves. Whether you’re navigating the aftermath of trauma, stuck in cycles that no longer serve you, or simply seeking deeper connection and meaning—I offer a space grounded in respect, presence, and possibility.
Meet Sara:
My Background
Before I was a therapist, I was a seeker—someone moving through my own questions about pain, resilience, connection, and what it truly means to feel whole. I didn’t wake up one day with all the answers. I lived through the questions. I’ve known what it feels like to carry stories that haven’t been witnessed, to long for spaces where I could show up fully, and to crave a life where healing felt possible—not just for others, but for myself, too.
These experiences didn’t break me—they shaped me. They deepened my empathy, sharpened my intuition, and gave me the fierce belief that no one is beyond healing. It’s this lived perspective that brought me to the field of clinical social work, and it’s what continues to fuel my passion for this work every single day.
After earning my Master’s in Social Work and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I dedicated my practice to working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship dynamics. But I don’t see therapy as “fixing” people. That word doesn’t sit right with me—because you’re not broken. You’re surviving, adapting, coping, and often doing the very best you can with what you’ve been given.
To me, therapy is a collaborative space where we explore not just what happened to you, but how it lives in your body, your relationships, your thoughts, and your sense of self. It’s not about pushing you into a mold or telling you who you should be. It’s about helping you reconnect with your truth, at your own pace, in a space where you feel safe, affirmed, and seen.
Healing is never linear. It’s not quick. It’s not clean. But it is sacred. And I’m here to walk beside you—not as an expert who has it all figured out, but as a grounded, compassionate guide who will meet you exactly where you are.
You deserve a space where you can bring your whole self—your pain, your joy, your questions, your contradictions—and be met with curiosity, care, and respect. That’s the space I strive to hold.

Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s wrong with you—it’s about making space for who you truly are beneath the anxiety, shame, or self-doubt.
Life can be overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, individual therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you feeling small, and gently begin to shift them so you can feel more grounded, more confident, and more you.
Support your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being with an integrative, body-mind approach to therapy.
Holistic Healing Therapy recognizes that you’re more than just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. This approach honors the complex interplay between your emotions, nervous system, relationships, environment, and life history—all of which shape how you feel, respond, and heal.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, burnout, chronic illness, or simply feeling disconnected, holistic therapy helps you reconnect with yourself and your inner resources.
Why Holistic Therapy?
In a world that often encourages disconnection from our bodies and emotions, holistic therapy invites you back into relationship with yourself—gently and intentionally.
This approach blends evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and intuitive healing practices. It’s especially supportive for:
- People who feel “stuck” in talk therapy alone
- Those healing from trauma stored in the body
- Clients experiencing stress-related physical symptoms or chronic illness
- Anyone drawn to a more integrative, embodied approach to mental health
Healing isn’t just about what you think—it’s about how you feel, move, breathe, and connect.
What is Holistic Healing Therapy?
Holistic therapy weaves together multiple modalities to support your unique path. Depending on your needs, our work might include:
- Somatic practices to increase body awareness and release tension
- Nervous system education to understand your stress responses
- Mindfulness and grounding tools to build emotional regulation
- Attachment work to explore relational patterns
- Space for spiritual reflection or intuitive insight, if desired
Everything we do is trauma-informed, consent-based, and led at your pace.
Who is This For?
Holistic Healing Therapy may be right for you if:
- You feel disconnected from your body or emotions
- You’re managing chronic stress, fatigue, or health issues
- Traditional talk therapy hasn’t felt like enough
- You’re seeking therapy that honors both science and intuition
- You want a deeper sense of balance, resilience, and wholeness
You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis to benefit. This approach meets you where you are.
How We’ll Work Together
Our sessions will be tailored to your needs, energy, and nervous system each week. Some days may be more reflective, others more somatic or skills-based.
You’ll learn how to:
- Recognize your body’s cues and signals
- Work with your nervous system rather than against it
- Develop emotional and energetic boundaries
- Reconnect to your sense of self, safety, and meaning
Together, we’ll co-create a space that supports your whole self.
