Maybe you’re feeling stuck in life, or maybe you’ve just had significant loss. Or, maybe you’ve been dealing with loss for some time – whether it be bereavement, loss of relationship or family support, or loss of parts of yourself. Perhaps you have experienced (and/or inflicted) trauma, and find yourself dragging the weight of those chains, even after much time has passed. Maybe you want to be heard or witnessed, maybe you want to problem solve or get to know yourself better, or do a combination of all three. Maybe you want to integrate facets of your being, or at least help those parts cross-communicate and work together better.
While not every client is completely certain what brings them to treatment, what is certain is that everyone who comes to therapy wants change. I’m here to offer help with that. I have experience with dual diagnosis individuals, the newly housed and homeless population, kids, and folks who’ve been incarcerated.
I myself have been a past consumer and know the stigma that comes with having the courage to reach out for help. Don’t let it hold you back or compel you to put off your happiness and inner peace! Your trauma, shortcomings or mistakes are not the entirety of YOU. Welcome to yourself. Welcome to the zone where absolutely nothing is ridiculous!
