After working for the past ten years in mental health and receiving my license as a clinical psychologist in 2023, I founded my own practice, New Pathways Psychotherapy. At New Pathways Psychotherapy, my goal is to help each and every one of my patients discover and reconnect with their core values and gain the skills and confidence to overcome the barriers in their way. The ethos of New Pathways Psychotherapy is finding one’s path and embracing the discomfort that comes along the way. I use an approach that is customized to the needs of each patient, with techniques from psychodynamic therapy, existential therapy, attachment theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As I help them find their pathway, I hope that they feel empowered to help set the goals of treatment to ensure that their treatment is suitable and appropriate to their needs. The ideal patient is someone who is curious about themself and is motivated to make changes in their life. My areas of clinical focus include the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as helping people struggling with negative self-talk, self-doubt, and life transitions. I am also exceedingly geeky and spend my free time watching the likes of the newest superhero or Star Wars show, reading through the ACOTAR series, and rereading the Hitchhiker’s Guide series. All fandoms and all Jewish identities are welcomed and appreciated here.
