I love the creative, collaborative, often playful nature of therapeutic work and holding safe space for processes of meaningful change.
I tend to serve LGBTQIA + and other folks who feel somehow different (creatives, sensitives, neurodivergent people, disabled people, trauma survivors, multicultural backgrounds) from the flock as well as those going through life changes bringing long back-burnered parts of them to the forefront that need attention. Visualization and play are used a lot in my practice to help us listen to, care for, and integrate those parts.
To my practice I bring 20 years as a theatre and storytelling artist/facilitator in NYC and Oregon, 10+ years as a Reiki therapist and Life Coach, my training and experience as the Mental Health Counselor in a by us for us clinic for LGBTQIA2S people in Portland’s Q Center, and six years in private practice. My work is Client-Centered, Trauma-Informed, and Multiculturally-Affirming. Issues of antisemitism on the left are close to my heart as a queer Jewish zionist, and I particularly welcome other queer or liberal zionists struggling post October 7. My practice has a broad sliding scale, but I currently only have $100-150 cash-pay openings. Email or text is the best way to contact me for more information/to set up a first session.
