I draw from a wide spectrum of therapeutic modalities to allow you to reach a higher level of quality of life and personal empowerment. I believe there is always hope for any problem, no matter how longstanding or complex.
My clients come in for help with getting their life back on track: feeling anxious or depressed, sleep problems, unhealthy reliance on chemicals (legal and not legal), unfulfilled, frustrated, disorganized, or just stressed out. My biofeedback practice areas focus on anxiety, disability issues, addiction/recovery, chronic pain of any kind: headaches, nerve and muscle pain, or “psychosomatic” issues.
If you feel that stress is aggravating any medical or psychological condition, then my evidence-based biofeedback and counselling approach has real potential to offer you at least some degree of relief.
I have advanced training in the area of panic attacks, using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and physiological techniques.
I also offer a polyvagal informed approach to anxiety and depression, for those interested in the work of Dr. Steve Porges, PhD.
