I’m Anna Holtzman, LMHC, a licensed psychotherapist working with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who are navigating identity shifts, life transitions, and “next chapter” moments. Many of the people I work with are creatives, leaders, and entrepreneurs — people who carry responsibility, visibility, or creative pressure, and who may feel internally uncertain or strained despite appearing capable on the outside.
My work is depth-oriented and relational, focused on helping clients slow down, regain clarity, and reconnect with themselves in a steady, private therapeutic space. I offer a calm, attuned presence and value emotional honesty, nuance, and thoughtful self-reflection. This is not directive or protocol-driven therapy, but a collaborative process that supports insight, self-trust, and meaningful change over time.
I bring particular sensitivity to the experience of being Jewish in the current cultural climate. I joined Jewish Therapist Collective because I know how important it is to have a therapy space where Jewish identity does not need to be explained, defended, or minimized — especially in the post-October 7 context.
My approach is informed by nervous-system-aware psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Nonviolent Communication. I work with adults seeking engaged, reflective inner work. I do not offer crisis care.
Sessions are conducted via telehealth for clients located in New York State. I do not accept insurance, but can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement.
