Allison Stahl is a licensed clinical social worker with experience providing care to children, adolescents, adults, and families addressing a wide range of therapeutic needs including anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, level 1 ASD, bereavement, and work, school, couple and family issues.
Allison specializes in working with parents whose children are struggling with anxiety, OCD, emotional dysregulation, or challenging behaviors. She utilizes SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), DBT, CBT, ERP, and ACT to support children and their parents in managing OCD/anxiety, building emotional regulation, psychological flexibility and healthy communication. Allison also completed training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in couples and family therapy.
Allison believes passionately in the individual’s ability to cultivate joy and meaning in their lives, no matter the trials that they face, and approaches therapy with the goal of creating a warm, collaborative, and safe environment that strives to help clients utilize their own inner resources and strengths to achieve their goals.
