It is often a vulnerable process to reach out when you’re suffering, so I’m glad you’ve taken this first step. I have been a licensed and practicing marriage and family therapist for 25 years. My orientation is eclectic, and I draw on a large toolbox of techniques and experiences to shape a unique treatment plan designed for you. I specialize in grief/loss, trauma (EMDR), and life transitions. I worked for 12 years in a hospice setting, offering bereavement counseling and creating bereavement programs. I’m also a certified Jewish spiritual director, offering spiritual guidance, and I teach mindfulness meditation at my synagogue. Two years ago, I was certified as a psychedelic-assisted therapist. I now offer ketamine-assisted therapy and psychedelic integration counseling as well. I’m a published author and visual exhibiting artist and enjoy working with creative folks or creatively blocked artists.
Since October 7, I have been counseling a number of Jewish and Israeli clients impacted by the Israel-Hamas war.
