Maybe you’re a parent watching your child struggle and feeling unsure how to help. Or perhaps your family is carrying the weight of grief, loss, or a major life change that has shifted how everyone relates to one another. When emotions feel big and overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to start.
I work with children and families navigating grief and loss, including children facing serious illness, children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or grandparent, and parents who are anticipating or grieving the loss of a child. I also support children who struggle to regulate intense emotions, which may show up as meltdowns, withdrawal, self-harm, or other behavioral challenges that leave families feeling stuck. In addition, I work closely with parents who want to build stronger emotional foundations and deeper connections within their families.
In our work together, I focus on creating a safe, steady space where children feel understood and parents feel supported rather than judged. We will work together to make sense of emotions, strengthen coping skills, and build tools that support both the child and the family as a whole. Over time, families often notice greater calm, improved communication, and more confidence in navigating hard moments together. My goal is to help children feel safer in their emotions and to help families feel more connected, supported, and hopeful moving forward.
