Joshua Simmons, PsyD is a psychologist, Jungian psychoanalyst, clinical supervisor, and published author with two decades of experience working with individuals, couples and groups. In addition to facilitating groups, he maintains a private practice in San Francisco. His past clinical research focuses on cultural trauma and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and resilience in families. He currently lectures on a variety of topics pertaining to wellness, individuation and mental health.
Dr. Aleksandra (Sasha) Soykin is a licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in trauma, PTSD, and grief, as well as working with those who have a variety of medical conditions and chronic illness/pain. Dr. Soykin’s training is in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she uses these modalities in her private practice, helping adults navigate challenging times. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Soykin channels her clinical passion into addressing pressing societal issues, notably supporting those affected by antisemitism and the war in Ukraine. She is one of the founding members of the Jewish Community Mental Health Initiative (JCMHI).
